Ecem Dilan Köse & Esin Aykanat Avcı

Ecem: Interdisciplinary artist. She graduated from Bilkent University, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design in 2013. Köse has been focusing on the unification of different branches of art. She carries out research on plant tissues in the computer environment by transferring the tissues through marbling to the digital world. Köse combines her query and thoughts about life with tissue research and exhibits her observations and productions in various forms such as digital installation, sculpture, video art and drawing.
Esin: In 2009, she graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of American Culture and Literature. In 2010, she was accepted to Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics. She completed her thesis research with Erasmus Scholarship at UWIC Cardiff School of Art and Design, Wales. During the 2017-2018 Academic Year, she was awarded Fulbright Visiting Student Researcher Scholarship and she conducted her dissertation research under supervision of sculpture artist Asst. Prof. David Meyer in Newark, Delaware, USA. She continues to take part in national and international exhibitions with her works in the fields of bio-art, installation and land art.
