Polyheads
Polyheads,
interactive installation, 2018
Polyheads is about converting electrical energy into action. Inside the units there is one battery, motor, propeller and conductor cables. These elements form an open circuit within each unit. In each unit, there is a positive and negative pole represented by the copper material visible from outside the units. As long as these two opposite poles do not touch each other, the circuit is not completed and no movement occurs. When these two poles come into contact with the conductive surface the circuit is completed, the electric energy activates the motor in the units, the propeller starts to rotate and units become activated.
The purpose of the project is to enable the user to enjoy and discover the “product”. During this process, it is even possible for the user to capture the movement during the contact of the elements. This experience is entirely user-specific.
