The project, which also reveals the lines of research between the concrete and abstract transition, shows you the transformation of the lichen from an amorphous form to geometric form with the digitalization of the data it allows us to experiment this possible living space.

The answer to many questions that we are looking for is hidden in nature . Aristotle defines mimesis as the perfection, and imitation of nature. Project Ubiquitous is both inspired by nature and mimics nature. In the frame of biomimetic and biophilic design concept, the project brings a new perspective on urbanization. The aim is to bring nature’s structure to a larger scale, the existing mathematical order and the golden ratio by repeating it. Final biophilic design form can be everywhere and anywhere.

Lichen is selected to mimic nature, present in the form of homogeneous strata in nature. The form created by the habitat of lichen on a tree and the proportion between each habitat can be a possible future expansion plan of this living space created through the lichen form.
